What a pleasure to do business with SWMC!
We purchased our vehicle 5 days before going on holiday and explained to Zoe that we would need the vehicle to travel to the airport, the garage pulled out all stops to ensure we had the car in time.
Slight problem with a dry runner on the sunroof which was dealt with temporarily before we travelled and booked the car in on our return to carry out further maintenance work to ensure the smooth opening and closing of the sunroof.
Zoe was very informative, friendly and professional before, during and after purchase of the car.
So far, we would highly recommend SWMC for purchasing used cars, they have a wide variety of choice and are competitively priced.

Southwest motor company provides excellent service, Dale was professional but also very friendly and genuine. I picked up a Skoda Fabia VRS which had done over 100k and also traveled from Blackpool to saltash to pick it up, which I had been told by family and friends was extremely brave given the mileage"¦

It took me 10 hours to get it back home due to traffic, stop start for most part of the journey and the car did not skip a beat. It felt like it was brand new out the box! Brand new brake pads and discs had been fitted before pick up as well as a new cambelt and water pump had also been fitted. Needless to say I am absolutely made up with this car and would definitely return to southwest motor company in the future!

Bought a Volvo V50 from South West Motor Company and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a used car.

Exceptional customer service. Our volvo had a small oil leak. We called the office and shortly got a call back from Scott who arranged for us to bring it in and and gave us a like-for-like courtesy car.

They did a lot of diagnosis, found what was causing the leak (crank seal), and fixed it while keeping us updated on progress the whole time. They also went over and above with their service by replacing some other bits they spotted that were looking a bit tired while they had it up, such as a gearbox seal and a cracked heat shield.

We are very happy with our Volvo as with the fixes and diagnosis we know it will last and is a good car. I can honestly say that these guys are good guys. They won't rip you off. If there is a problem with your car, they will sort it in a professional and courteous way, like they did with ours.

EDIT: I've been back with a small problem with the car that falls under warranty (as yes, they give 3 months warranty cars they sell). I was told pop in at my conveninence during the day which was greatly appreciated, the issue was dealt with immediately and professionally - I mean heck we've hardly had time to grab a hot chocolate with my son and it was already done :) Now everything is perfect.

After this second experience, now with the service team I would give them SIX STARS if I could for this review. Thanks everyone for putting the customer first! Porper job.

I rang this garage as was interested in an Audi they had for sale on auto trader. They made me feel comfortable and assured as soon as I spoke to them on the phone . Was welcomed with an appointment and as soon as I arrived I was given the keys for a test drive. Was my first time driving an automatic so was hoping for a few pointers which they happily helped with. The automatic car was so easy and smooth to drive and the car itself was super clean . Had a great experience with SouthWest Motor Company (Saltash). After buying & eventually returning a undeclared CAT S car I had purchased from a dealership in London, I had seen an Audi A4 advertised through the Southwest Motor Company website. After seeing the car, it was in immaculate condition and I was reassured that the car would be given a full service, 12 months MOT and also a fresh cam belt change for piece of mind, Dale had informed me the car would not be ready for a week as it had to have the MOT, service and cambelt changed which as a happy customer I was happy with!

After the experience I have had with this company, I will be making the 1 1 hour 1/2 trip to get all service and future work done through this company on the new car.
